It is a known fact that child abuse flourishes in secrecy.
Most people that sexually and physically abuse children have some sort of relationship with the child, with over 90% of these being either part of their family or part of a close circle of friends and caregivers. They could also be trusted people in your community. People who you know and feel happy to leave your child with. I mean - who of us would leave our child or children with people we do not trust ! But Never

You can download a copy of our .pdf ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
2. Get a local spokesperson to speak up about the problem!
We all want our children to be well behaved when we leave them with babysitters, family and friends so...you may tell them, You listen to the babysitter (friend or family member) You do everything they tell you to do... Please be a good girl / boy I don't want to come home and find that you have not been doing what you have been told to do, and so on... We put our children in quite a predicament if they are with an abusive person. Over 90% of child sexual abuse is perpetrated

In January 2017 I finally finished the first fully animated program of the "My Body Is My Body Child Abuse Prevention Program". I was very excited from the very supportive feedback I had received after completing the songs. I had no idea that 11 months later the program would be translated into 12 different languages (with 4 more translations waiting for me to work on) and several more in the pipeline. Just goes to show what can be achieved by networking on Linkedin. For thos
I have a Child Abuse Prevention Program for (3 - 8 year olds) that is proving to be quite popular - mainly because it is done through music and the fact that it is a non threatening and positive way to approach children with this rather daunting subject. I could really do with some help with ideas on how to reach people from around the world as we complete the translations of the program. We need to find ways of getting this message out to: Parents Teachers Social Workers Peo
Well it has been an exciting few moths since I completed the animated version of the My Body is My Body Programme in January this year. For those of you that don’t know about the programme - it is an animated musical child abuse prevention programme that helps people engage with children of 3 - 8 years old in a simple but positive way. The soft approach to this difficult subject empowers children to know that their body is their own and no one has the right to hurt them or to
One thing that has always haunted me since visiting the Nashville State Prison and meeting with convicted paedophiles. When asked what they would do if a child said NO! when trying to abuse them. Their answer was - we would go and find another child that did not say No!….I do know in life this is not always the case - but I do know it is much harder to groom an educated child. This one statement made me realise just how important it is to teach children from the earliest poss
"My Body Is My Body" Programme" According to ISPCAN ( International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect), The Optimus Study 2012 indicates that 25 to 50 percent of children around the world suffer from physical abuse, and that around 20 per cent of girls and 5 to 10 per cent of boys experience sexual abuse.
